Meet Chriss, Chriss is the brilliant Manager at The Great Hall, she is absolutely excellent and is there to guide and inspire with lots of great ideas for your big day (she also lights all the millions of candles) My old pal Chris Astbury from The Astbury Studio, what can I say the guy's a photographic genius and we jsut love working with him.

Top Table dressed with gorgeous colour co-ordinated flowers, the candles for the focus right inbetween the Bride & Groom's seats, the flowers cluster around the centre trailing away to the outer reaches of the long table, we've extended this one with the use of goldish bowls in varying sizes.

Who could resist chocolates from Twelve? These handmade mouthfuls of deliciousness are what you get with your coffee at an event catered by Twelve Event Management. One of the best things about Twelve apart from the fabulous food and service is of course that they are a local Fylde based company and we all need to support our local economy!

Shots of perfectly complimenting Pudding Wine, to warm you on this crisp February day. Jason & I went to Twelve's Restaurant at Marsh Mill on Friday night the food was just perfect.

The candelabra decorated in profusion of pink roses and gerberas.

On this shot you can see the goldfish bowl extensions, pulling you eye to the outer reaches of the table

Heathcotes always do a really full on professional job, the food, the service and the staff are always spot on.

The exceptionally talented Ashton's are there, we have agreat time working with Steve & Stephanie, their work is always exceptional.

With a Twist caterers again another superb outfit, each one of the catering companies that TGHM reccommends is absolutely first class and quite different in their styles of cooking and presentation. As the name would suggest "With a Twist" offers you something a little different.

The amazing Cameron Scott offering you a fabulous choice of entertainment.

The Great Hall have also provided you with the cream of The North West's photographers, Aggie Mcguinness is superb, her photography is innovative and beautiful.

The great people from Jet Set Limousines are there too.

The beautiful Registrars design to grace this very important table.

Preserving Your Wedding Gown

Your wedding day has come and gone.   Your wedding photos and your wedding gown will serve as beautiful reminders of this special day.   Properly caring for and preserving your wedding gown should be given special consideration.   After all, you may want to pass this gown on to future generations.

To understand the complex, yet necessary, process of wedding gown preservation, here are some points to consider:

1. If you select a reputable vendor (one who specializes in cleaning fine, couture garments) to preserve your wedding gown, the process will include professional cleaning of the gown, hand finishing and museum-quality storage and preservation.   The storage method would be similar to that used by museums to store historic articles of clothing.
   
   
2. If your dress is very delicate with beading and lace, the vendor should test the gown's trim for strength and durability and examine it for loose materials.   Any loose materials or torn hems/lace should be repaired before the gown is cleaned.
   
   
3. Any spots or stains on your wedding gown should be carefully pre-treated before the gown is cleaned.   After cleaning, your gown should also be treated to prevent it from yellowing with age.
   
   
4. After cleaning, the gown should be hand finished following the gown designer's lines.   This is very important to maintain the shape and style of the gown.
   
   
5. It's very important to begin the cleaning process as soon as possible following the wedding.
   
   
6. Wedding gown preservation vendors can be found online if a suitable vendor is not available in your local area.   Your gown can be shipped to them via UPS or FedEx and shipped back to you once cleaned.
   
   
7. Depending on the vendor, it usually takes 3-4 weeks to complete the entire cleaning and preservation process.

Flower Design Wedding Flowers in Lime & Fuschia

I love the bright, fresh bold colours I used in this wedding if you would like to see more weddings in this colour range here are some links to some Summer & Autumn weddings we did Sharon & Adam and Vicky & Jason & More & Jackie & Andy

This Flower Design Wedding Bouquet was created from Madame Pompador Dendrobiums, Milano & Maxime Verdi Anthuriums, King Arthur Ladies Slipper Orchids, Anastasia Blooms and Whisper Germinis studded with Diamante pins.

This is the Bridesmaid's Flower Design Wrist Corsage designed on a Diamante Bracelet with Cerise Pink Nerines & Milano Rose Buds.

We made small posies of co-ordinating flowers in small black glass cubes to dress the Registrars table, later these were used down the centre of a rectangular dining table and were given as gifts to the ladies present.

This Wedding was a very intimate affair with a handful of very important guests, the Bride & Groom arranged for the Bridal Flowers to be collected from Flower Design on the morning of the wedding. The Groom's party wore simple white Roses in contrast to the bold colours chosen by the girls.
