Heyhouses School were absolutely brilliant they returned more entries and quicker than any other school, so as a special treat all of the children that entered the competition recieved daffodils to take for their very special mums.

Flower Design Contemporary Bridal Bouquet

This modern bridal bouquet was made yesterday for Rachael, this is her trial bouquet, I made it for her to try for size, shape and colour. Rachael's wedding is at the end of April, this will be the perfect shape and design for her Jenny Packham gown the dress is called Eloise and is from the 2008 collection.

I used some lovely white Muscari, Arabicum Chincherinchee, Viburnum Opulus, Hot Chocolate Calla Lilies and Cymbidium Orchids.

Hot Chocolate Calla Lilies were used and their lovely coloured stems looped over to create a protective frame.

Some of the white roses were studded with diamante pins, to pick uo the diamante detail on the bridal gown.

I met some gorgeous new brides for weddings later this year yesterday, first appointment was...

9:30 a fab couple hoping to get married at the top of Blackpool Tower and then a reception at Number One South Beach, these two have got the most amazing Blackpool wedding planned and I can't wait to create something utterly gorgeous for them.

11:00 Bride with her very stylish mum, the plans include a castle in Nantwich, a Candle lit ceremony and reception, with fabulous autumnal vintage shades, this one is going to be so magical and these two ladies are really creative with loads of fabulous ideas.

12:00 A fabulous bride with a completely open mind, the reception is at The Grand (How lucky are they?) and our gorgeous Scottish bride has superb taste, she completely fell in love with the Lovely Jane's (From Pure Beauty) wedding so I know we're going to have lots of fun!

14:00 The lovely Rachael for her second appointment to see her trial wedding bouquet, this was a great success.

15:00 Complete Colin's Birthday party table designs.

18:30 off to my brothers for a gastrnomic feast, Paul is the most sensational cook I'm going to enter him for Master Chef!

Cvil Ceremony at The Great Hall at Mains, Richard & Lesley Parsons, 28th March 2009

Richard & Lesley chose the outstandingly wonderful Great Hall at Mains for their full on family wedding, with forty nine children on the guest list, this was always going to be a big proper family celebration.We dressed the ceremony with tall conical vases filled with fresh spring flowers including Eremurus and golden Cymbidium Orchids.

These tall vases were to be used later on the dining tables.

The registrars table design was dominated by chunky candles to lend a little romance, we used lots of fragrant flowers in this design including cream stocks & hyacinths, their fragrance filled The Great Hall with the scent of fresh spring flowers.

Roger & Adele owners of TGHM and the uber efficient Caroline from Twelve Event Management, the Twelve Team really did a superb job of catering for such a diverse range of ages, there was something for everyone!

Our extremely gorgeous Bride, Lesley carried a bouquet of sweet smelling spring blooms, I've spun a web of gold thread over the bouquet that just catches the light, click on the image to enlarge.

This Flower Design Bridal Bouquet was made as trial bouquet for Lesley a few weeks ago click on the link to see the original design.

This hand tied wedding bouquet includes the first of this seasons white peonies and Metalina Roses, White Lilac, Viburnum Opulus, Vendella & Avalanche Roses.

The ceremony was lovely and all of the children were brilliantly well behaved, they all seemed to genuinley enjoy the ceremony, every credit to the excellent Registrars.

The Great Hall at Mains is a superb venue for a civil ceremony, the room has a grandeur that makes it worthy of the vows being said.

Lesley's wedding bouquet really suited her, her colouring, the time of year and the style of day Richard & Lesley wanted, relaxed, fun yet meaningful and elegant.

Lesley's hair and all the beautiful bridesmaid's hair was created by my very good friend Sol, from Sol's Hair & Beauty on Clifton Drive, Lytham St Annes, here's a link to Sol in action at one of our events.

The children had loads of outdoor toys from Sunshine Events and Taz the amazing children's entertainer seriously entertained.

Twelve are all about attention

to detail and even the butter gets a 12 makeover.

Lesley's brief stated that all of the table decorations were to be Flower Design hand ties in

their own water bubbles so that at the end of the evening all of Lesley's girlfriends could each take one home with them.
