Meet my new very bestest friend Bob, Bob makes the most amazing chocolate ever tasted, he's married to Jane, so I feel we're almost married, well at least I know he loves my name. Bob & Jane own Saunders in the Rheged Centre and they are simply brilliant at chocolate making. Bob took me around the back to see his kitchen (not a euphemism for something else), he showed me chocolate to make your mouth water, he introduced to flavours I'd only dreamed of like "Coconut & mixed spice" & "Blackcurrant & Chilli", I admit I tried some and bought many, all have been utterly delicious.
I sent a glorious box of delight including a "Lake District Sheep" to Rebecca in London she phoned me this morning totally beside herself with joy and pleasure having eaten a "Strawberry & white Pepper" chocolate for breakfast.
Jane & Bob make fantastic Wedding Favours including fabulous chocolate shells filled with divine chocolates for a table of guests to share.
Jason and I kept seeing signs for red squirrels all over the country lanes on which we travelled however the chocolate red squirrels were the only ones we saw. I'm really hoping for a Saunders treat for Easter.
I fell in love with this baby duckling and had to take her picture, she's called Jemima

So here we are at The North Euston Hotel in Fleetwood and a what splendid venue this is. This wedding was for a fabulous couple who owned a fishing trawler, they both were passionate about the sea and really wanted to incorporate it into their table centre pieces We used a variety of high and low vases, these were layered with coloured sand, sea shells and coloured water, with vivid tropical flowers on top
The Groom provided metres of fishing nets to drape along the top table
The North Euston is a fabulous hotel, with one of the most spectacular barrel ceilings on our coast, the room seems to hold an enormous quantity of guests, the staff were seriously helpful and we were offered refreshments which is really nice, the family told us that they were "Knocked out"by the quality of the food but as they supplied the fish I'd think they would be all of that said though it just goes to show what a great all round wedding venue The North Euston is.

Welcome to Suzy & Anthony's fabulous Blackpool Wedding Day, the weather was stupendous, the golden shades suited the setting as we were celebrating on the famous Blackpool "Golden Mile"
I used a beautiful collection of Cream Vendella, Sandy & Akito Roses, surrounded by Crystal Blush Calla Lilies, caged by Flexi Grass and framed with rolled Aspidestra leaves, some of the Roses were studded with diamante pins.The Bridesmaids carried very simple single stem Arum Lilies, Grasses and Xanadu leaves. The bouquet complemented Suzy's fabulous Dan Kerr wedding dress
Anthony wore an eye catching ivory suit with gold tie and Ivory Akito Rose Buttonhole
This corsage was designed to compliment the silver grey outfit of the Bride's Mum.
Suzy's gown was magnificent and really suited her, the gown was from Dan Kerr Bridal in Blackpool
A horse drawn carriage, perfect for the "Golden Mile"
Anthony & Suzy were married at St John Vianney Church, Blackpool.
The wedding reception was held at The Carlton Hotel, Blackpool, Promenade. We arranged tall conical vases filled with golden glittered jelly and a fresh hand tie of Arums, Roses, Solomons Seal, Gerbera, foliages & Grasses. All the team at Flower Design would love to send their warmest congratulations to Suzy & Anthony!

A la boca que querías besar. La segunda, porque he tratado por todos los medios de olvidar esa noche. Algo queda, pero sólo lo importante. Sólo lo que me da la certeza de que en algún momento yo fui importante en tu vida. Lo que me dio la seguridad de que no era yo sola la que estaba emocionada porque estábamos sentados en frente del otro. Tú y yo, seis meses después, sólo separados por un círculo de madera y unas tazas de café.
Una cosa importante de esa noche era tu mirada. El hecho de que fuera más linda que tus ojos. Los ojos y la mirada no son lo mismo, ¿sabías eso? Lo irrelevante era el color de ellos. Ya no me acuerdo de qué color tienes los ojos, menos mal.
Otro hecho fundamental es que esa noche estabas igual que yo. Los dos sentíamos algo. No sabíamos que era, pero sentíamos algo. Y fuimos unos idiotas porque no supimos cómo hacérselo saber al otro por una parte importante de la noche. No. Retiro lo que dije. Fue inteligente no saltar encima de la mesa para darte un beso. Eso hizo que el suspenso y las ganas crecieran. Eso, hizo que el final de la noche superara nuestras expectativas.
Una de la situaciones que mereció quedarse en mi memoria fue que te pusieras celoso cuando el dueño de Marquee se acercó a conocerme y el hecho de que hasta el sol de hoy puedo salir a rumbear gratis en la mejor discoteca de la mejor ciudad.
La rosa también pertence al grupo de cosas que recordar de la noche. De dónde sacaste una rosa, cómo hiciste para dársela al mesonero sin que yo me diera cuenta, por qué tengo guardada esa rosa todavía, en qué momento escribiste la tarjeta que la acompañaba, por qué hasta tu letra es bella y dónde está esa tarjeta son preguntas que nunca tendrán respuesta. Se me ha escapado de las manos entenderlos. Tres años después, sigo sin entender. Quizás por eso es que todavía lo recuerdo.
Pero ninguna de esas cosas tuvo un significado tan profundo como el beso. Ese beso que nos tumbó los abrigos, las chaquetas, las camisas y las medias. Ese beso en el lugar menos romántico. El que pensábamos que nos íbamos a dar caminando agarrados de las manos mientras nevaba y que no nos dimos porque estábamos fumando. Que no te di porque no me atrevía antes. No hubiera sido lo mismo. Ese beso no planificado. Ese beso que nos preocupó. Ese beso que me tuvo soñando despierta toda la noche. El que todavía me quita el sueño. El beso que no entendimos por qué no nos dimos antes. El beso que nos dejó atontados y viéndonos a los ojos tratando de decirnos cuánto había significado. El beso con el que pasamos de ser resuelve de verano a algo más. El beso que fue tan bueno que es imposible describir. El beso que fue lo suficientemente corto como para no ser una de esas parejas que la gente odia, pero lo suficientemente largo como para marearme y empezar a sospechar que me gustabas más de lo que pensé. Es posible quizás contar cómo pasó, pero no creo que sea posible poner en papel cómo me sentía al respecto. Sin embargo, voy a intentarlo de todas maneras.
Cuando se acabó nuestra cita, me fui con mi rosa en una mano y tu mano en la otra hasta el tren. Esa noche fue la primera vez en la que me sentí plenamente feliz por mucho tiempo. No valía el otro hombre, ni me acordaba de cómo se llamaba. No valía mi beca, ni mi universidad, ni mi familia, ni yo. Importábamos sólo nosotros y lo que estaba pasando. Cuando finalmente llegamos al tren, tu mano soltó la mía para agarrarme por la cintura y acercarme a ti. Por un momento pensé que ibas a besarme. Aunque en ese momento me decepcioné, ahora agradezco haberme equivocado. Me viste a los ojos por unos segundos y me diste un abrazo más largo de lo que dicen las reglas no escritas sobre abrazar a mujeres con las que tuviste algo en el pasado. Por medir lo que mido, tuve que pararme de puntillas para poder rodear tu cuello. Mi cabeza cabía perfecto en el espacio cóncavo que había entre tu perfecta mandíbula y tu hombro. Respiré profundo, te di las gracias por el café, te besé en el cachete y me alejé. Me partió el corazón tu mirada. Sospecho que a ti la mía también. En ese momento ambos pensábamos que iba a ser la última vez que intercambiáramos una mirada tan profunda aunque nos gustáramos tanto. Entré al tren resignada a quedarme con las ganas de sentir tu boca en la mía. Justo cuando, en milésimas de segundo, me dije a mi misma que tenía que volver a salir del tren para darte el beso que tanto quería recibir, algo sonó en mi ventana. Tus ojos me pidieron que saliera y tu mano reposaba en el vidrio todavía. Sonreí porque sabía qué iba a pasar. "No podía irme sin darte esto," susurraste antes de darme el mejor beso de mi vida. El beso que paralizó mi corazón y me puso a temblar. El beso que sigo esperando que deje de ser el número uno. El beso que quiero que pierda pronto.
