Mark (Number One) & Sally (Flower Design) had done all the organising and planning for this wonderful event and Jason and I are really grateful to them both, it was a seriously successful evening. We raised some money for charities that are very close to our hearts and Jason's mum will decide on the distribution, so many thanks for your generosity and kindness it really is very much appreciated.

The Piper was fantastic.
The food was sumptuous, we had champagne and the canapes, then Finnan Haddock Kedgiree/risotto of Mark's invention, then Cock a Leekie soup, the Haggis, Neeps & Tatties in a lovely light tart with a wee dram, Scotch Beef or Salmon with all the trimmings and to finish Cranachan or Tipsy laird, it was served and presented beautifully and I demonstrated flower arrangements in between each course which paced the evening nicely.
Everyone had a fabulous evening
Mark holding court!
The flowers were just lovely, the Anemones in this one were exquisite. Instead of using table numbers, personalize each table by naming it after something that has meaning for you, i.e. your favorite vacation spots, favorite authors, streets you've lived on.
Create your own signature drinks to be served at the cocktail hour.
Before making your entrance into the reception area, have a video play of how you met.
Incorporate a family dish into the reception menu or a favorite dessert into the dessert table.
Personalize your wedding with a favorite quote or saying. I attended a graduation celebration that had the theme: "Oh, the places you'll go". The phrase was printed on everything from the programs to the favors.
In lieu of wedding gifts, have guests donate to a cause that's important to you.

If you enjoyed our cranberry inspired board and you're in need of winter wedding centerpiece ideas, cranberries come to the rescue once more. The following centerpieces are a cinch to create (directions below) and contain mostly natural elements.
Leftmost centerpiece Fill a vase half full of berries and fresh water and insert an arrangement, such as these roses and holly leaves. Add more water and cranberries to hide the stems.
Middle centerpiece Start with cylinders of varying heights. Place red flowers, such as roses, amaryllis, and greenery in a metal flower frog. Attach the frog inside the cylinder using double-sided floral tape. Cover the flowers with water, float cranberries on top, and place a floating candle amid the berries. Change water daily. The piece should last up to seven days.
Rightmost centerpiece Start with an 8-inch-square clear glass vase. Cut a piece of floral foam to a size that lets a layer of cranberries fit between the foam and the vase. Cover with water. Into the foam, insert red roses, striped 'Hocus Pocus' roses, red tulips, gold-tipped cedar (all available from florists) and silvery ornaments. Thread cranberries on thin floral wire to loop above the arrangement.

I created this wedding cake in December of 2008. It's a 4 tier yellow cake filled with vanilla buttercream, wrapped in white fondant w/ice blue fondant ribbons. It served about 200 people. The snowflakes and pine branch are made of gumpaste, and I also used floral wire & crystals in the topper. If you have any questions please feel free to mssg me or leave a comment below. What an amazing evening we had in the company of Gill & Georgina and the wonderful team of extremely professional bridal wear specialists at Dreamcatcher Bridal in Kirkham.
The scene was set with a beautiful spring window display, gorgeous gowns flanking a huge Champagne flute filled with Muscari & Bridal Crown, when we delivered this floral cocktail a fortnight ago the bulbs were just peeping through the mosses in the bowl of the glass, now look at them!
The guest list had been prepared weeks ago, anticipation filled the air as we waited to view the brand new 2009 - 2010 Bridal wear collection selected and carefully chosen by Jill & Georgina.
I'd made some delicious bridal bouquets to compliment the gowns and the beautiful models.
I used a sumptuous selection of spring flowers in a great range of colours.
This Rose and Calla lily hand tied bridal posy is so simple and easy to carry.
Passionate pink, Aqua Roses, Hyacinths, Tulips and rolled leaves, make this a very neat wedding bouquet.
