- No, muchas gracias... algunas de nosotras sabemos retirarnos con dignidad, especialmente después del día horrendo cuando por aquí se buscaba zampar y por allá se mandaban mensajitos para tirar con otras.
- Bueno, Uva, tú sabes cómo es. Además, después de eso yo he estado pendiente de vernos y nunca respondes. Por eso te estoy llamando hoy... y para serte sincero me extraña que hayas atendido.
- No, de hecho no sé cómo es que es. No sé como es que yo soy tan burra para atender teléfonos desconocidos. No sé por qué demonios no he colgado y no sé por qué te estoy hablando después de aquella vez.

Alguien que me lo explique. De verdad. O sea, básicamente ¿si no tiras no te quieren ni para lo demás? Si este pana no hubiera conseguido con quien tirar esa noche, no le hubiera importado quedarse sin el chivo y sin el mecate? ¿Ese es el plan y vaina? Han caído tan bajo que el hombre venezolano ante una mujer novata se abstiene. No les bastaba con ser perros, chulos, bebedores, cero elegantes, poco caballerosos, ahora no agarran lo que venga porque eso de no tirar es el fin del mundo. El colmo.

Romantic Wedding Day at The Castle Green Hotel, Kendal, 18th April 2009

This was such a beautiful day and the perfect start to Nicky & Chris's wedding at The Castle Green Hotel, Kendal. Rachel, Gary & I made an early start arriving in Kendal in time for breakfast

We started off in the ceremony room, we made the huge LSA column vase designs in situation
I used some fabulous fresh cherry blossom, pink & green hydrangeas and pink roses.

Rachel made the entrance vases with the same combination of blooms

Chris, our very romantic groom ordered some roses and sweet peas to be sent to his bride along with a string of pearls for her to wear. The card message was of course top secret...

Nicky had two wedding dresses and also two wedding bouquets And a pair of Christian Laboutin Shoes to die for (click on the link the web site is fab)

On the terrace we arranged vases of Hydrangea, Ranunculas & Hostas also in low LSA column vases, we loan free of charge all our vases and stands to our event clients.

also on the garden tables, we later made these into bouquets for Nicky & Chris to give to some of their special guests.

The Civil Ceremony Room was all ready, Nicky wanted quite a contemporary feel to this part of the day whilst retaining elements of tradition and romance.

The Hydrangeas were really vibrant and one of Nicky's favourites.

Chris was a little nervous but with two best men at his side he was kept calm.

Chris's Mum Hilary's corsage of Lily of the valley, Delphinium, Hyacinth and rolled Akito Rose Petals.

The boys had their Hypnose roses pinned on

The ceremony room was filling up and excitement and anticipation was building

Chris the extremeley effecient C&B manager at The Castle Green managed to get everyone in the right places at the right time.

Nicky was being given away by her lovely mum Angie

First Kiss as Mr & Mrs Spedding, Many Congratulations.

The Bridesmiad's posies included Hypnose, Metalina & Amnesia Roses, I tied them simply with ivory stain ribbon.

Nicky's Benjamin Roberts gown was just lovely and the Pink Peony bouquet was aperfect choice.

Nicky brought me a fabulous moodboard with her inspirations and ideas very clearly displayed, pride of plce in the centre of the board was the black Martini Vase with Aqua Roses...






















The dramatic Ghost tree graced the entrance foyer to the banqueting suite and acted as a backdrop to the seating plan.

The Musicians were The Herbs, they played throughout the wedding breakfast and then transformed themselves into a fabulous evening band.

The Wedding Cake was made by Beaulea's Cakes

The Top Table

You can see how these high designs sit above the eye level of the guests, whilst the small sphere of roses on the table top is a lovely detail for everyone to enjoy making them the perfect choice for maximum ooohs and aahhs when guests enter the room and great for the atmosphere as everyone can see one another and conduct conversations across each table.

The Place cards were so individual, and so very Nicky & Chris
